The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is for a dear Swiss friend Werner Doppmann who fought and lost the battle with this terrible disease. He was strong, an incredible talent both professionally and in the kitchen plus totally organized for his family to feel comfortable in their hearts as he departed. My dear Swiss family comes to visit each year and we honor Whirley this way. That was his nickname, hence this title.

I'm making a difference for all of the wonderful people who are currently fighting and have lost their battle with pancreatic cancer- I call it the Silent Killer. The program I created is called iPlaid and stands for "Intuitive Passion Launches an Inner Discovery". This journey of creating art brought me through the grieving and loss of my husband who was a wonderful man and deserved to enjoy his retirement, friends and family, but instead this cancer took us into a world that was unknown with unparalleled experiences.
